Mission

WFCI’s mission is to “equip families with biblical and practical truth for spiritual, emotional, and physical wellness.” The concept of a “whole family” approach recognizes that when one member of a family unit experiences crisis, the entire family is affected. Sustainable behavior change is unlikely if individuals return to unchanged environments and continue using ineffective coping strategies. By removing women from the environments contributing to their situation and providing them with new life skills, there is an increased likelihood of improved outcomes. House of Ruth offers a supportive setting where women can break cycles of dysfunctional behaviors by learning alternative, healthy choices, thereby fostering individual well-being and strengthening the broader community.

Integrity

A unified family structure serves as the foundation for a resilient community. Reflecting a commitment to philanthropy, WFCI seeks to improve quality of life through its support of the House of Ruth.
