The House of Ruth is a nonprofit, faith-based organization that was established in 2010 and is INARR certified (Indiana Affiliation of Recovery Residences). The founders of the House of Ruth are Sharon and Russell Cranfill. The House of Ruth provides education, spiritual and emotional healing, and guidance in a safe, supervised environment in which residents can live and experience a “real home” atmosphere. The House of Ruth has been created to help women that are trying to overcome addiction, and that want a clean and sober lifestyle.
Residents of the House of Ruth will be women that are 18 years and older. Women involved in this program would be placed in a home under alternative sentencing guidelines, as well as through referrals by other programs or individuals. Each woman will participate in the program for 12 to 18 months.
- To enter the program the women must be 18 years or older
- Be accepted into the program through the application process (There is a nonrefundable $150 application processing fee due upon acceptance.).
